Qualifications and responsibilities: each regional coordinator (there are nine) is responsible for a region containing roughly 75 abortion facilities. The goal is to obtain all malpractice records, Board of Health disciplinary actions, etc. for the abortion providers in the region. To be a regional coordinator, you must be friendly and have good communication skills, as the research will involve LOTS of cooperation with local advocates. You do not have to live in a particular part of the country, but you should have a phone with unlimited long-distance calling. The research will begin right away and go through the month of October.
